1. Introduction and scope

BlinkCV is a product operated by Magellanix Technology Solutions Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. These Recruiter Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between Magellanix Technology Solutions Private Limited, registered office 2/534, Sundeep Road, Neelangarai, Chennai - 600115, Tamil Nadu, India ("BlinkCV", "we", "us"), and the organisation and individuals who use the BlinkCV Recruiter Platform ("Platform").

They apply to every recruiter-facing feature, including job posting, application review, Candidate Intelligence and subscriptions. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • "Customer" or "Organisation" - the company or entity that holds a workspace on the Platform.
  • "User" - any individual given access to a workspace (Owner, Recruiter or Hiring Manager).
  • "Candidate" - a person who applies to a job published on the Platform.
  • "Candidate Data" - personal information about Candidates, including CVs, Career Snapshots and screening answers.
  • "Career Snapshot" - a short recorded introduction a Candidate provides through the BlinkCV Candidate Platform.
  • "Candidate Intelligence" and "Hiring Score" - AI-assisted, job-specific evaluation features described in our AI & Responsible AI Policy.

3. Account registration and organisation accounts

You must give accurate registration information and keep it up to date. A workspace belongs to the Organisation, not to an individual User.

The person who creates a workspace confirms they are authorised to accept these Terms on the Organisation's behalf.

4. Owner, Recruiter and Hiring Manager roles

  • Owner - manages the workspace, team, billing and subscription.
  • Recruiter - creates and manages jobs and reviews applications.
  • Hiring Manager - reviews candidates for jobs they are given access to.

The Organisation is responsible for who it invites and for the actions of its Users.

5. Account security

Keep sign-in credentials confidential, do not share accounts, and tell us promptly at info@blinkcv.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Jobs and recruitment activities

You are responsible for the content of the jobs you publish. Jobs must describe genuine vacancies, must be lawful and must not discriminate on protected characteristics or request information that is not relevant to the role.

7. Candidate data responsibilities

For Candidate Data received through the Platform, the Organisation decides why and how it is used for its own recruitment and is responsible for using it lawfully, fairly and only for recruitment purposes. Our Data Processing Agreement explains each party's role.

  • Applications - review and progress them only for the job applied to.
  • CVs - use them only to assess suitability for the role.
  • Career Snapshots - use them only for legitimate, job-relevant purposes; do not copy, re-record, publish or share them outside your hiring team.
  • Screening questions - ask only questions relevant to the role and lawful to ask.
  • Candidate communications - communicate professionally and do not use Candidate contact details for marketing.

8. AI-assisted recruitment and human oversight

The Platform offers AI-assisted features, including Candidate Intelligence and the Hiring Score, and, where available, ATS Resume Match and AI JD Generation. These features support recruiters and do not replace human decision-making.

  • Hiring Scores are job-specific, may contain uncertainty and must not be the sole basis for a hiring decision.
  • AI-generated job descriptions must be reviewed and approved by you before publishing.
  • You remain responsible for every final hiring decision and for meaningful human review.

Our AI & Responsible AI Policy forms part of these Terms.

9. Subscription plans, trials, fees, taxes and renewals

Paid plans, their limits and prices are shown on the pricing and billing pages. Prices are in Indian Rupees.

  • Trials - an eligible new workspace can start a free trial with the limits shown at the time. No card is required to start a trial.
  • Fees - subscription fees are charged in advance for each monthly or annual billing period through our payment processor, Razorpay.
  • Taxes - fees are subject to applicable taxes, which are shown or charged as required by law.
  • Renewals - subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms.

10. Cancellation, suspension and termination

An Owner can cancel a subscription from the Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached, if fees are unpaid, if required by law, or to protect Candidates, Users or the Platform. Where reasonable we will give notice first.

On termination we handle workspace data as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. Retention periods are set out in the Privacy Policy.

11. Acceptable use and circumvention

You must not misuse the Platform. In particular you must not intentionally circumvent:

  • Geographic restrictions
  • Authentication controls
  • Security controls
  • Rate limits
  • Access controls

You must also not scrape, reverse engineer, overload or probe the Platform, or use it to send unsolicited messages. BlinkCV may suspend or terminate accounts involved in unauthorised circumvention.

India-only availability

The BlinkCV Recruiter Platform is currently available for use only from India. Access or use from outside India, or attempts to circumvent geographic restrictions, is not authorized.

This geographic restriction exists because of the privacy, data protection, regulatory and service-delivery requirements that apply to recruitment and to the personal information processed on the platform.

  • Access or use from outside India is not authorized.
  • Attempts to circumvent geographic restrictions are prohibited.
  • Such use may fall outside BlinkCV's intended service and data-processing arrangements.
  • BlinkCV may block, suspend or terminate unauthorized access.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

BlinkCV uses reasonable measures to apply this restriction but cannot perfectly determine any user's physical location.

13. Intellectual property

BlinkCV owns the Platform, its software, design and brand. The Organisation keeps its rights in the content it uploads, such as job descriptions, and grants BlinkCV the rights needed to host and process that content to provide the service.

14. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information with reasonable care and use it only to perform under these Terms.

15. Third-party services

The Platform relies on third-party services such as Razorpay for payments and Google for optional sign-in. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms.

16. Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and events outside our control may cause interruptions.

17. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided "as is". AI outputs, including Hiring Scores, may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not a guarantee of a candidate's future performance.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BlinkCV's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Recruiter Platform shall not exceed the fees actually paid by the Customer to BlinkCV during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

19. Indemnification

The Organisation will indemnify BlinkCV against third-party claims arising from its unlawful use of Candidate Data, its job content, or its breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

20. Changes to these Terms

When we make a material change we publish a new version with a new version number and date, keep previous versions on record, and ask Users to accept the new version where required.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, courts having jurisdiction in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory legal rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
